Questo saggio, intitolato “ Diario di un maestro” (A Teacher’s Diary” in English) nasce dal recupero e dall’analisi di un registro scolastico nell’immediato secondo dopoguerra . Un viaggio nel tempo nella Alfonsine del 1945, una fonte fragile e preziosa che offre uno sguardo diretto sulla vita quotidiana della scuola e della comunità dell’epoca. Attraverso dati, annotazioni e osservazioni dell’insegnante, il lavoro ricostruisce il contesto sociale, le condizioni delle famiglie, la frequenza degli alunni e l’attività didattica, restituendo valore storico e umano a una testimonianza che rischiava di andare perduta.

As Wild as Nettles
Vittorina is the eldest daughter of the Manettis, known in the town of Villanova di Bagnacavallo by the nickname Sért. With a strong and decisive character, she must build her own identity in a society that sees her limited to certain roles.
Roses in the Wind
The sequel to As Wild as Nettles portrays Vittorina and Pirì as their clashing temperaments spark upheaval a few years into marriage. While she tries to salvage their bond, she must fend off his politically backed relatives and protect her own family as the Manettis fracture under new turmoil.
Night Stars
The third book in the Saga mainly focuses on Vittorina and Pirì’s children. Set in the 1930s and 1940s, it shows how family dynamics have progressed over the years. New alliances and new enemies will rise, and this new generation will have to embark on a very difficult journey.
Wayfaring Moths
The prequel to “As Wild as Nettles” focuses on the generation of Vittorina’s parents and their siblings. Set at the end of the XIX Century, it depicts a rich web of conflicted loves, betrayals, and long-forgotten secrets. A vivid and immersive portrait of a people whose shared past shapes their collective destiny.
Moonlight Reverie
The prequel to “Wayfaring Moths” goes back to 1855, exploring some of its main themes and explaining the back story of some of the main plots in the Saga. In a wild and intricated web of affairs and secrets, the Manettis face a series of hurdles that will shape their characters and define who they are as a family.

“Falene” (Youcanprint, 2024) è stato pubblicato l’11 aprile 2024 in formato cartaceo e digitale. Si tratta del prequel di “Ortiche” ambientato tra fine Ottocento e primo Novecento.
La luna sul fiume
“La luna sul fiume” (Youcanprint, 2024) è stato pubblicato a novembre 2024 in formato cartaceo e digitale. Ambientato nel 1855, 25 anni prima degli eventi di “Falene”.
La signora Ferretti
“La signora Ferretti” è stato pubblicato a ottobre 2025 in formato cartaceo e digitale. Il romanzo è uno spin-off di “Falene”
